Dia #1

O primeiro dia é sempre difícil, não é? Basta pensarmos no nosso primeiro dia de escola ou no primeiro dia de trabalho... Neste caso, o mais difícil foi mesmo escolher o outfit para o primeiro dia deste projecto! Como passei o dia todo ocupada de um lado para o outro nem me custou muito não comprar... Estou ansiosa pelos próximos 364 dias! Stay tuned!!! Ah e digam olá à Lottie, a minha cadelinha Spitz, que fez questão de aparecer no primeiro post deste blog para  apoiar a mamã! 

The first day is always difficult, isn't it? Just think about your first day of school or the first day of work ... In this case, the hardest part was choosing the outfit for the first day of this project! As a I spent all day busy not buying wasn't hard at all ... I'm anxious for the next 364 days! Stay tuned! And say hello to Lottie, my little Spitz dog, who insisted on appearing in the the first post of this blog to support Mommy!

Primeiro dia de 365 sem compras!

Já não há volta! Ao longo dos útimos meses, inspirada pela minha homónima brasileira Jojo (cujo blog podem ver aqui) ponderei diversas vezes iniciar este projecto.  Hoje acabei por decidir levá-lo adiante! (Palmas para mim que finalmente tive coragem)


Assim, durante os próximos 365 dias não vou comprar nem uma peça de roupa (nem acessórios, nem sapatos, nem malas). Todos os dias (I hope…) irei partilhar o outfit do trabalho, da saída para jantar ou do fim-de-semana numa tentativa de me inspirar a mim e aos outros!


Em tempo de crise, esta é a minha forma de contribuir para mostrar ao mundo (ou só a mim mesma) que é mesmo possível passar 365 dias sem comprar nem uma peça de roupa nova.


Como todas as regras têm uma excepção, neste caso a excepção é um vestido muito especial, para ser usado num dia muito aguardado, o dia em que vou casar com o homem que amo!


Conto com vocês e com as vossas visitas a este blog para acompanhar o progresso do projecto (prometo que não vou fazer batota!) e também para me apoiarem nos momentos de tentação, que prevejo que serão muitos... Good luck for me!!!




There is no turning back! Over the last few months, inspired by my homonym Brazilian Jojo (you can check her blog here) I have considered beginning this project and creating this blog several times but I have never done it. Today, I finally decided to take this project forward! (applause for me that I finally had the guts!)

Over the next 365 days I won't be allowed to buy a piece of clothing (or shoes, or bags, or any kind of accessories). Every day (I hope...) I will share the outfit I dress of to work, out to dinner or during the week-end in an attempt to inspire myself and others!

In these times of crisis, this is my way to contribute to show the world (or just myself) that it's really possible to spend 365 days without buying a new item of clothing.

Since all rules have an exception, in this case the exception is a very special dress to be worn in a long-awaited day, the day I marry the man I love!

I count on you and your visits to this blog to track the progress of the project (I promise I won't cheat) and also to support me in moments of temptation, which I predict will be many...
